SoapScience4YourSchool
Ideal for KS3 or KS4, primary or SEN students this programme has been written to complement Enterprise Soapbox and the Science and Enterprise Curriculums.
As with all IE events, the day is based around learning through doing, and includes a number of unique individual and team-based activities.
The programme can accommodate training for teachers prior to the event and logistics planning performed for the day. Equipment and materials can be loaned for the activity day or the school can purchase their own.
SoapScience4YourSchool enables students to work in teams to create and market a product from scratch. Using a variety of moulds, colours perfumes and packaging, the teams will be able to really see the fruits of their labours.
The finished products could be used for a school display, stock for the Christmas fair or gifts for the local community.
Half/Full Day Activity - all undertaken in school science labs or art rooms.
Full day activities will be enhanced with a number or activities around Science, Enterprise and Marketing activity - including quick-fire games, teamwork development and confidence building activities.
